James Walter Benson ‘By Warrant to H M the Queen’ was one of Victorian London’s most prestigious watch making and watch retailing firm; the prestige jewellers most famous three watches are:

The movement is very clean with original shine, in great condition and with original key
127.3 grams solid silver case fully hallmarked for the London assay office with the letter (L) for the year 1886 with the case makers mark “J.W.B, Ludgate Hill, London”.
Just one small ding on the side hardly visible
The Dial is in excellent condition original porcelain example
The crystal is made from thick mineral glass, little wear, very good original example

The Double Albert Chain Set (Chain set circa 1924; Fob medal circa 1963)
Beautiful antique solid silver double Albert chain set, all Chain, T Bar and the two Clasp are the originals and have the same hallmarks for Birmingham and the letter Z for the year 1924. All links are individually hallmarked.
The Fob: Solid Silver never been engraved; the front with vacant cartouche and the back is blank, ready for engraving on both sides if you wish. Circa 1963
All pieces are in excellent condition; total weight 40 grams
The Display Stand and Dome:
Custom made using quality materials, strong traditional design; handmade solid wood and solid brass blank plaque ready for engraving.
Comes with solid brass knobs, real leather padding and clear hand blown glass dome; Height 17 cm, Base radiance 11.5 cm.
